Covenant Kids Report - October 1, 2012

Covenant Kids will be doing a month long mission project in the month of October. October is Hunger Awareness month and the kids will be collecting change in Rice Bowls. Rice Bowls provides much-needed meals to great kids around the world through partnerships with Christian orphanages. The Wednesday Night Program is off and running. The kids have been enjoying our Movie Clips for Kids lessons which will run for a few more weeks. We will then start a new lesson on "What's in the Bible with Buck Denver." The lessons start around 6:25 p.m. and last about 45 minutes. All kids from four years old through 5th grade are invited to join.

Covenant Kids will be hosting Family Fun Day at the Pumpkin Patch on Saturday, October 13 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. We will have a tent set up with games and crafts for the kids. We will need volunteers to help the kids with these activities. A sign up sheet will be posted in the Narthex or you can email Lindsay Perry to find out the needs.
