The children of Covenant UMC will determine its future. These children need to be grounded in God’s word and the beginning of this for all of them is Sunday School. There are few things as important as serving children in the name of Jesus and nurturing them in the Christian faith. Each time you encounter these children, you are not only sharing your knowledge and wisdom, but they will be blessings to you!
Sunday school is not just about learning the Bible (surprised?). In Children’s Ministry, it’s also about caring for your students. It doesn’t matter as much that you know that Bible backward and forwards (we have curriculum for that), as it matters that you care and that they see your love and concern for them.
We have an opening for two assistants (one temporarily) and a teacher for the 2nd/3rd grade class. Won’t you pray about joining us in Children’s Ministry and let these children be a blessing to you?
